Buddy Kofoid won the opener of the Abreu Vineyards 27th Trophy Cup Presented by Rudeen Racing Thursday evening at Thunderbowl Raceway. Pennsylvania invader Anthony Macri was second, with D.J. Netto finishing third. An 85-car field of winged 360 sprints packed the pit area for the first of two preliminary nights.

Roth Motorsports has filled a seat for the $200,000 Trophy Cup by bringing Tyler Courtney to California, offering an opportunity for the Indiana native to add to his long list of accomplishments.

Trophy Cup Points and Payout for A-Main

Ties are broken by qualifying time on their better of the two preliminary nights. The 15 point margin that Rico Abreu had over Shane Golobic is one of the largest in Trophy Cup history.
